Kranj mayor faces five challengers in local elections

Kranj, 14 November - Six candidates have entered the mayoral race in Kranj, the country's third largest city, with incumbent Matjaž Rakovec seeking his second four-year term. Polls show the former general manager of insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav will be re-elected, if not in the first round on 20 November than in the run-off two weeks later.
