Online fraud results in EUR 14m damage this year
Ljubljana, 9 November - Some 790 cases of online fraud have been reported to police this year with total damage of nearly EUR 14 million, as this type of crime is on the rise in Slovenia, especially since the start of the Covid pandemic, said experts discussing the issue at an event on Wednesday, calling for preventive action - checking the sender, link and attachment.
