NGO calls for depathologisation of transgender people

Ljubljana, 14 November - Transakcija, an NGO dedicated to transgender rights, has called for depathologisation of transgender persons and removal of transgenderism from the list of mental health disorders. They reject the notion that being transgender is a mental health disorder and disagree with the requirement of a diagnosis to affirm gender identity.
