Proposal debated in parliament to set in motion changes to judge appointments

Ljubljana, 16 November - The parliamentary Constitutional Commission met on Wednesday to debate a coalition-sponsored proposal to amend the constitution to transfer the power to appoint judges from parliament to the head of state. Deputy factions now need to put forward candidates to form a group of experts to work out versions of a draft constitutional act.
