Govt to aid companies with job retention scheme, subsidised electricity and gas prices

Ljubljana, 17 November - The government discussed guidelines for the final set of measures to mitigate the energy crisis on Thursday. The measures aimed at businesses and some public institutions are to include a scheme to subsidise electricity and gas prices and subsidies for furloughed staff and those on shorted work time. The package is to kick in on 1 January.
