Kranj Mayor Rakovec to face SDS's Bajec in run-off

Kranj, 21 November - Matjaž Rakovec has failed to get re-elected for his second term in the first round of Sunday's local elections in Kranj, the country's third largest city, securing almost 46% of the vote as 77% of the vote has been counted. He will face Ivo Bajec from the Democrats's (SDS) in the second run, who secured 21%.
