Slovenian recorder virtuoso wins London festival

London, 22 November - Ensemble Pampinea, a Switzerland-based early music trio that features Slovenian recorder player Maruša Brezavšček, has won the young ensemble competition award at the London International Festival of Early Music (LIFEM). Apart from receiving 1,500 pounds, Pampinea was also invited to give a full concert at next year's festival.
