Parliament endorses government budgets for next two years

Ljubljana, 23 November - The National Assembly has endorsed budget documents for the next two years in which the government projects for expenditure to peak at an all-time high of EUR 16.69 billion in 2023 before dropping somewhat in 2024. With substantial funds set aside for energy crisis mitigation, the deficit is to reach 5.3% of GDP in 2023 but fall below 3% in 2024.
