Salmonella outbreak growing, liked to St. Martin's celebrations
Ljubljana, 23 November - The number of cases of salmonella poisoning initially reported in eastern Slovenia rose to 19 on Wednesday with cases reported from other regions as well. Due to the size of the outbreak, the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) has launched a broad epidemiological investigation. The most likely source is store-bought steak tartare.
