Conference urges serious and concerted response to violence against women

Ljubljana, 25 November - International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women was marked in Slovenia on Friday with the first national conference on the subject. Participants stressed this major social issue demands a serious response in society, politics and the media, including via the cooperation of NGOs and government agencies.
