Early diagnosis in focus on World AIDS Day

Ljubljana, 1 December - Early diagnosis is key if we are to stop the global HIV/AIDS pandemic, experts say, as World AIDS Day is marked on Thursday, 1 December, urging the public to undergo testing and thus start potential treatment as soon as possible for best outcome. In 2021, 27 people were newly-diagnosed in Slovenia, same as in the year before.
