Govt adopts law imposing windfall tax on energy companies

Ljubljana, 1 December - The government adopted on Thursday an emergency law that imposed a windfall tax on energy companies for 2022 and 2023 in a bid to subsidise renewables and finance measures to reduce electricity demand during peak times.
