Tensions rumoured as gov fails to name police chief for full term

Ljubljana, 2 December - Media speculate about mounting tensions between Prime Minister Robert Golob and Interior Minister Tatjana Bobnar after the government failed to appoint Police Commissioner Boštjan Lindav for a full term as the minister proposed. Commenting on the situation on Friday, Bobnar insisted that politics should not interfere in police work.
