Central bank activating countercyclical capital buffer

Ljubljana, 7 December - Speaking of a "precautionary signal" in the face of slowing growth, Banka Slovenije announced on Wednesday the activation of a countercyclical capital buffer for banks. The buffer is set at 0.5% of the total risk exposure and banks will need to raise their capital buffer accordingly.
