Slovenia and Croatia each with own unilateral statement on border arbitration

Brussels, 8 December - Slovenia and Croatia have prepared own unilateral statements on the border arbitration decision as Croatia joins the Schengen area. Unofficial information shows that Slovenia's statement says the shared border was determined with the arbitration decision, which is final and binding, while Croatia's says the country is not bound by it.
