Minister says Slovenia example in halting biodiversity decline

Montreal, 16 December - Environment Minister Uroš Brežan said as the high-level segment session as part of the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP 15) started in Canada's Montreal on Thursday that Slovenia is committed to ambitious goals when it comes to halting the decline in biodiversity, as it sets a good example with more than 40% of its territory being protected.
