Over EUR 258m in EU funds under way for transition from coal

Ljubljana, 16 December - Slovenia will be entitled to more than EUR 258 million under the Just Transition Fund (JTF) following the adoption of the cohesion policy programme for 2021-2027. This EU support will help deliver a just climate transition in the Slovenian coal regions of Savinjsko-Saleška and Zasavje, the European Commission said on Friday.
