Pirc Musar says she will be active, calls for additional powers

Ljubljana, 24 December - President Nataša Pirc Musar has told Delo in an interview she understands her post as the supreme defender of constitutionality. She is in favour of new powers being given to the president so that they can as for a constitutional review of an act. The president cannot be a mere "courier between parliament and the Official Gazette," she added.
