Part of criminal procedure act declared unconstitutional

Ljubljana, 12 January - The Constitutional Court has unanimously declared as unconstitutional the part of the criminal procedure act which does not permit a convict to propose that their prison sentence be postponed or suspended as they file an appeal on a point of law. The National Assembly has one year to remedy the unconstitutionality.
