Slovenia defeat Saudi Arabia for first win at handball worlds
Katowice, 12 January - Slovenia opened their World Men's Handball Championship campaign in Katowice on Thursday by easily defeating Saudi Arabia 33:19 to open the tournament in a winning fashion ahead of encounters with the much tougher opponents in Group B - Poland and France.
