Slovenia opens consulate in Naples

LJUBLJANA - Slovenia opened a consulate in Naples, which will be headed by Jacopo Fronzoni, the Foreign Ministry announced on Twitter. The work of the consulate, which was opened on Friday, will help further develop the economic, cultural and scientific relations between Slovenia and Italy, the ministry said. The consulate in the south of Italy adds to Slovenia's diplomatic network in the country, which include the embassy in Rome and consulates general in Trieste and Milan, it added.

Delo invites readers to refurbished K67 kiosk

LJUBLJANA - The newspaper publisher Delo has installed a refurbished K67 kiosk in front of its headquarters in Ljubljana. The kiosk is planned to permanently stay there as a place for meetings of readers and other events, while Delo editions will also be sold there. The legendary kiosk made of polyfibre reinforced modules was designed at the end of the 1960s by Slovenian architect and designer Saša Mächtig, who also participated in the project to refurbish the unit that stands in front of the Delo building. Delo said the plan was to "create a meeting point for readers, residents and various business partners.
