Banks call for less strict crediting requirements

Ljubljana, 17 January - The parliamentary Commission for Public Finance Oversight has discussed bank loan conditions on the request of the Bank Association. Banks are urging the central bank to ease the conditions, which have rendered much of the population ineligible for a housing loan. The central bank believes risks are high and the measures appropriate.
