Soldiers no longer participate in control of southern border

Ljubljana, 21 January - The Slovenian Armed Forces (SAF) no longer participate in patrolling the border with Croatia together with the police as the country entered the Schengen Area on 1 January. Some soldiers have remained on the border to help remove the border fence and provide support in road maintenance and in various forms of training in the area.
