Minister discusses cultural cooperation in Berlin
Berlin, 14 February - Culture Minister Asta Vrečko met with her German counterpart Claudia Roth on Monday as part of her two-day visit to Berlin. The ministers agreed there was great potential for stronger cultural relations between their countries. They paid special attention to Slovenia's stint as the guest of honour at this year's Frankfurt Book Fair.

On Monday evening Vrečko attended a concert by Aldo Kumar and the vocal group Gallina, the Culture Ministry published on social media.
Addressing the event, Vrečko noted that this year there would be many opportunities in Germany to meet and discover Slovenian creativity. The book fair will take place in autumn with accompanying events held throughout the year.
The concert was organised by the Slovenian Cultural Centre Berlin, which, according to the minister, will have an important role in event organisation and promotion of Slovenian culture and art in the coming months.
Vrečko is scheduled to visit the Museum of European Cultures and meet with Slovenian artists residing in Berlin on Tuesday.
