Calls to step up culling of large carnivores voiced in parliament

Ljubljana, 21 February - A discussion in the upper chamber of parliament exploring the continuing human-wildlife conflict in Slovenia heard on Tuesday repeated calls to step up the culling of bears and wolves. Minister of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning Uroš Brežan responded by announcing the formation of a special task force.
