Slovenia to introduce new cancer screening programmes
Ljubljana, 6 March - Marking the 40th Cancer Awareness Week, Slovenia announced new screening programmes to detect lung and prostate cancer, with experts pointing out that these programmes will have to be implemented gradually and at a high level of quality. Slovenia is ready to commit to these new Council of the EU guidelines, they said.
