Ministry labels ocean treaty a milestone

Ljubljana, 6 March - The agreement to protect the world's oceans that UN countries reached the past weekend is a milestone for preserving seas that are outside national jurisdictions, which have been under increasing pressure in recent decades, as it will create a legal basis for joint regulation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning said today.
