More that 12 million tons of waste collected in Slovenia in 2022

Ljubljana, 7 March - Some 12.3 million tons of waste was collected in Slovenia in 2022, which is 30% more than in 2021. The amount of mineral waste, accounting for around 10 million tons, has increased by two-thirds due to some large construction projects, while the amount of municipal waste has slightly decreased, data from the Statistics office shows.
