Plan to establish new research agency proceeds amidst protest

Ljubljana, 7 March - The relevant parliamentary committee okayed on Tuesday's second reading the government-sponsored changes to the scientific research and innovation act that establish a single Agency for Research and Innovation in Science (ARIS). This comes as public research agencies have taken issue with the proposed structure of its managing bodies.
