Šarec says speed, effectiveness of EU weapons purchases for Ukraine key

Stockholm, 8 March - Defence Minister Marjan Šarec told his EU counterparts on Wednesday that speed and effectiveness were key as the EU launches efforts to jointly buy weapons for Ukraine. At the same time, the procurement must be upgraded with the strengthening of Europe's technological and industrial base, where small and medium-sized companies must be included.
