Conference urges putting technology into service of security and dignity
Maribor, 10 March - US economist Jeffrey Sachs opened a week-long conference exploring the social ramifications of technological development in Maribor on Friday by stressing the imperative of using technology as a force for good. Sachs called for a geopolitics of peace, issuing a strong rebuke of the US's and Europe's attitude to Russia.
