Households' production of wastewater up in 2021

Ljubljana, 18 March - Slovenia generated 232.6 million cubic metres of wastewater in 2021, 16% more than the year before. Households produced 31% of the total amount, the Statistics Office said on Friday. More than two-thirds of wastewater was treated before being discharged from sewerage systems back into the environment.
