Clug powerless as Bolshoi picks his piece in place of Serebrennikov's

Maribor/Moscow, 22 March - Slovenia-based choreographer Edward Clug has told the STA he is powerless in the face of the decision of Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre to cancel the May performances of a ballet by Kremlin-critical director Kirill Serebrennikov and replace it with Clug's The Master and Margarita. He explained the Bolshoi holds exclusive rights to the piece until 2026.
