Ukraine crisis challenge for tuberculosis management in Slovenia

Golnik, 24 March - In Slovenia, as in other developed European countries, the incidence of tuberculosis is low, but experts warned on the occasion of World TB Day that the war in Ukraine brings new risks. They urged for refugees to be provided with an adequate level of health protection, also as this can help nip a potential spread of the disease in the bud.
