Strike at thread maker A&E Europe attempts to prevent closure

Ljubljana, 27 March - Almost all workers of the Maribor-based sewing thread manufacturer A&E Europe stopped working for two hours on Monday, demanding of the US owner to backtrack on its decision to close down the facility and lay off workers. If the demand is not met, a full-day strike will follow.
