Economy experts believe 2022 current account deficit was cyclical

Ljubljana, 28 March - The central bank hosted a debate on balance of payments on Tuesday with experts assessing that last year's marked deterioration in the current account balance was of cyclical nature. Trends in 2023 will show whether structural reasons were behind the deterioration. If this was the case, economy policy will need to respond.
