Cross-party bid to simplify govt appointment

Ljubljana, 4 April - The largest two parties of the ruling coalition and the smaller of the two opposition parties have tabled a proposal to amend the constitution in order to transfer the power to appoint government members from parliament to the head of state on the proposal of the prime minister.
