Stakeholders up in arms about proposal on dismissals in institutions

Ljubljana, 5 April - Trade unions, municipalities and a democracy advocacy NGO have raised their objections to government-proposed changes to the Institutes Act that they say have been drawn up in a non-transparent manner. They believe that the proposal is an attempt to politicise dismissals or appointments of the heads of public institutes.
