May Day events highlight importance of trade unions

Ljubljana, 1 May - Trade unions will organise numerous events to mark International Workers' Day, which is a two-day public holiday in Slovenia celebrated on 1 and 2 May. The main celebration will be, as tradition dictates, on Rožnik Hill in the capital, and same as others it will be held under a slogan noting the importance of trade unions.
