Slovenia commemorates WWII resistance movement

Ljubljana, 27 April - Slovenia marks Day of Uprising Against Occupation on Thursday, a public holiday dedicated to the Liberation Front, an organisation that spearheaded resistance against Nazi and Fascist occupation in the Second World War. President Nataša Pirc Musar and Prime Minister Robert Golob have drawn parallels between that movement and the present.
