UK-Slovenia Friendship Day ceremony stresses importance of alliances

Črnomelj, 8 May - President Nataša Pirc Musar and UK Ambassador to Slovenia Tiffany Sadler addressed a ceremony on Monday marking UK-Slovenia Friendship Day in Gornji Suhor, a village in the south-east where a British bomber crashed in 1945. The two stressed the importance of the "priceless" friendship between the two nations which was born in the hardest of times.
