Dnevnik comments on Russia's scaled-down Victory Day parade

Ljubljana, 10 May - When Russian President Vladimir Putin came to power almost 25 years ago he turned Victory Day into the main, shiny national holiday, during which he showed off army capabilities and built national pride. Yesterday he spoke at a parade featuring a single old tank, with no planes or general public in the audience, Dnevnik says on Wednesday.
