Bishops oppose assisted suicide
Ljubljana, 10 May - The Commission for Justice and Peace of the Slovenian Bishops' Conference said on Wednesday it opposed a bill on assisted suicide presented by Silver Thread, an association campaigning for dignified old age. Commission member Roman Globokar said that even if perfected such a law could not prevent abuse.
