Heavy rainfall triggers dozens of landslides, many danger to homes
Šentilj/Maribor/Ptuj, 17 May - After over a week of permanent rainfall, the heavy rain that hit the eastern half of Slovenia on Tuesday triggered dozens of landslides, many of which are a danger to homes and infrastructure. The situation is worst around the town of Šentilj in the northeast, where the military is arriving to help the local responders. Rain is slowly petering out.
