Motorway tolls
"Electronic vignettes about to get costlier": The Infrastructure Ministry says it will support the proposal from the national motorway company DARS to increase prices of electronic vignettes by 6.8%. DARS hopes for the price hike before the main summer season. (front page, page 8)

"North-east hit by natural disaster": Tuesday's rains caused the biggest havoc in Štajerska and Podravje. Inspecting the situation, Minister of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning Uroš Brežan said the damage exceeded the level meriting state aid under the Natural Disaster Recovery Act. Alleged abuse of Office for Money Laundering Prevention
"Risky abuse of institutions": Klaudijo Stroligo, the former head of the Office for Money Laundering Prevention, says that investigation of suspicious financial transactions based on anonymous tip-offs opens door to political abuse and could lead to the office being temporarily suspended from the relevant international association and prevented to access data of akin authorities around the world. Company exposed for foreign labour abuse
"NKBM saving Marinblu and the Šuštars from bankruptcy": In case of compulsory composition, the company exposed for alleged abuse of foreign labour force will get an additional million euro in subsidies from the taxpayers.
