Oil spill in Izola Marina under investigation

Izola, 18 May - Last week, passers-by in Izola Marina noticed oil slicks in the sea and detected the smell of oil in the air. An investigation into the situation was launched and remedial measures are in the making. The pollution seems to be a result of a fuel oil leak at a local hotel that occurred half a year ago and has been seeping into the sea since.
