Author Veno Taufer dies aged 90

Ljubljana, 22 May - Author, translator and editor Veno Taufer has died at age 90, the Slovenian Writers' Association told the STA on Monday. An acclaimed Slovenian poet, Taufer used to be the head of PEN Slovenia and chair of PEN International's Writers for Peace committee. One of Slovenia's leading literary festivals, Vilenica, was his brainchild.
