Foreign language mandatory from grade one under proposed new bill

Ljubljana, 22 May - Slovenian students will learn the first foreign language from grade one of primary school and a second foreign language from grade seven under proposed amendments to the Act on Primary Schools unveiled by the Education Ministry. There are also new rules on home schooling and national testing.
