Fajon pleasantly surprised by support for UN Security Council bid

New York, 6 June - As Slovenia was elected a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2024-2025 with 153 votes in the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon said she was pleasantly surprised by such an immense support. Fajon above all feels relieved that the hard work has paid off.
