Free school lunch for primary school kids to kick in in 2027
Ljubljana, 7 June - The parliamentary Education Committee endorsed on Wednesday a bill introducing a free school lunch for all primary school children. However, while the NGO that filed the bill wants the solution to kick in in January 2024, the government proposed an amendment deferring the new arrangement to September 2027.
